Can Raspalls' solargraphy

Can you recognise these cameras?
Yes! They've been in the playground during all first term (from autumn equinox to winter solstice).
Did you realise they aren't there anymore?
We'll see what happened very soon...

The art of Visual Thinking: PHOTOMONTAGE

Hello!
This time we're going to make a photomontage, which is a kind of collage made of photos. Take a look at these slides to take some ideas from.
You need to collect images from magazines, newspapers or prints. Using scissors and glue, cut and rearrange them, and make a new composition. Find a connection between them.
Does you collage suggest or tell a story?
You may have a surrealistic result!

Look at the cool photomontages our students are doing.
There's a story in each one!

A Pinhole camera

- Hello students!
As we said, you have to bring a Cardboard Box, it can be a shoe box or any other box that is a little bit strong. We are going to make a camera with it.
- A camera?
- Yes, a camera!
- You mean a toy camera.
- No, no... a real camera. We're going to take pictures with it.
- Aahhh! We're going to put a disc in it.
- No, it can work without a disc.
- Then we should put a memory in it, and a battery, because it can't work without a battery...
- This camera doesn't need a battery, a disc, or a memory stick.
- No way!
- Well... we're going to try and see what happens.

1st workshop session with 5th & 6th graders
and Untaltoni
Today we have taken some pictures with the new shoe box cameras.
They turned out so cool!!
Thanks to all the students and specially thanks to Untaltoni, always giving me advice on building cameras and all equipment, and who's working with us during these workshops.
I hope you have enjoyed.
Look at the results...
